Code of Conduct

The code of conduct for students lays down that students should follow all norms of the college at all times while they are on the campus. This includes:

  • Carrying the college ID card at all times
  • Maintaining the decorum of the institution
  • Maintaining discipline
  • Attending classes regularly and maintaining cordial relationships with teachers
  • Maintaining silence during change of class or a free class so not to disturb other classes
  • Not indulging in any rowdy behaviour on the campus
  • Wearing proper uniform where prescribed and socially acceptable clothing where not prescribed
  • Taking care so as to not damage/destroy the property (furniture, electric fixtures, blackboard, taps, etc) of the institution
  • Any damage done to college property will be recovered from the concerned student
  • Not carrying any weapons or sharp objects
  • Not using vulgar or foul language
  • Not indulging in bullying or harassment of other students. It may be noted that sexual harassment (which includes inappropriate touching, passing lewd comments, or even discrimination on the basis of gender) will be taken very seriously by the institution.
  • Not carrying kites, colours, fire crackers, etc even on festivals unless prescribed by the institution as part an organised festival celebration
  • Refraining from wearing expensive jewellery or carrying expensive gadgets. The institution will not be responsible for loss of valuables
  • Any complaints/grievances students may have should be addressed to the concerned authority through proper channel only. There are forums where complaints of any nature can be addressed. Students should make use of these if and when required.
