Department of Marathi
Keeping in view the objectives of student-centered education and holistic development of students, the Marathi department organizes various supplementary and extra-curricular programs.‘Dnyaneshwari Pathan’ and ‘Granthadindi’ are organized every year for value education and value addition. Marathi Bhasha Gauraw Din, Eloquence Competition ,Kavi-Katta, Seminars,Workshops,Guest Lectures etc. are organized to stimulate the talents of the students, to increase their love for the language, to create a love of reading and to enable them to apply their knowledge in their life.The Marathi department is always striving for the overall development of the students.
1. Dnyaneshwari Pathan
‘Dnyaneshwari Pathanhas been organized since 2002 with the aim of completing the course in a different way, preserving the values of life and practicing them, creating national unity, fostering a spirit of co-operation, inculcating the habit of working together, inculcating a love of reading.
2. Marathi Bhasha Gaurav Din
‘Marathi language should be the language of knowledge. Love for the mother tongue should increase. To protect and nurture it. To protect and promote cultural and literary matters in Marathi language.
3. Inter collegiateoratory competition
Students should be holistically developed and their latent qualities should be developed.Such extra-curricular activities are organized with the aim of developing the writing, speaking, reading skills of the students and increasing their courage.
4. Students Development Programme –Kavi-Katta
Events like Kavi-Katta are organized for the students to write poems.Students’ literary outlook should be developed.There should be a love of reading and creating literature.
5. Skill Development Workshop
Students should get job opportunities.Workshops are organized to gain knowledge about the job opportunities available in the field and the skills to be acquired for it.
6. Guest Lecturers
Guest lectures are organized to provide more information to the students, Seek the guidance of experts in various fields, Increase students’ knowledge.
7. Competitive exam guidance workshop
Workshops are organized to guide and assist students in the context of competitive examinations
8. Webinars and Seminars for students
Students should get complementary knowledge to the curriculum and the knowledge of teachers should also be enlightened. Seminars and Webinars are organized for this purpose
9. Competitions based on language knowledge for students
Language competitions are organized to impart knowledge of language to the students and to create interest in the study
