• National, International Offline/Online seminars, webinars and workshops for teaching fraternity and student community are often organized
• The staff members take class-wise responsibility of providing notes of Compulsory English and English Literature to students which are easy and short to recollect.
• Students are encouraged to visit departmental library where books on English language grammar and communication skills are available. This library is evolving for developing interests among students for English language and literature.
• For Students Video Lectures by staff members are prepared and recorded on course contents  and uploaded on college as well as personal  Youtube channels.
• English Literary Association remains active throughout the session in all the activities organized by the Department of English. Every session some guest lectures are arranged to promote interests among students towards English language and literature.
• Once in a session Wall Magazine is published by the Department of English wherein students find space and platform to write on their areas of interests and issues.
• Vocabulary Development Workshop : The department organizes a Vocabulary Development Workshop every year, keeping it open for all interested students. The workshop is a demonstration of a technique designed to make students aware of their hidden or latent vocabulary, thus sending the message that their vocabulary is better than they think. It serves as an encouragement to students to bring English into use more often. This is also the Best Practice of the Institution.
• Grammar with Crosswords : Starting in 2020-21, another workshop aimed at helping students learn grammar basics like tenses and verbs with the help of simple crosswords was started. This too will be an annual workshop. Students are given practice at solving crosswords and also told how and where to find more such resources. This workshop is aimed at helping students learn English in a fun way.
