Department of History
C.P & Berar College was established in 1960. Students responded enthusiastically to the history subject. History Department was honoured with presence of Shree Shashtri, Shree Hirde & Shree N.S. Dixit. I Dr.Sunita Pande joined C.P. & Berar college on 14 Dec 2007 as a Lecturer. After joining I organised lots of informative workshops like Shiva Jayanti, Tilak Punyatithi for students in History Department. Apart from that I published yearly calendars from 2020 onwards with themes like Swatantryaveer Sawarkar, Lokmanya Tilak& selected freedom fighters in the Diamond Jubilee year of Independence. This type of activities helps students in depth knowledge of history & overall development for their personalities. We also celebrate World Heritage Day to explore the Ancient Monuments by actual visit.
